What's been going on?

It's been awhile since I posted here. I'm off facebook for awhile but I still want to share our happenings with friends and family, so I'm back to blogging! Since my last. last posting: James graduated with his Masters in Aerospace Engineering, received a wonderful job at Honeywell FM&T, and we moved to Kansas. We have enjoyed our time here in Kansas and look forward to making more memories here. We miss our good friends and ward family in Rolla, but we are excited to make new friends and experience new things here.
Ella is in gymnastics and loves it. She does really well at it. She will start kindergarten in the Fall this year. She is excited about it, I'm a little nervous. Am I really old enough to have a kid in school? She's been learning how to read, and amazes me every time she reads a new word. I have a video of her reading that I'll post later. She is making new friends, but still talks about and writes letters to her old ones.
Miriam is Miriam. She is our little ball of spunk. She has started to talk a lot more and uses her manners and not flip out so much, so that is good. She still has the blonde, curly hair and sucks her thumb. Everyone who sees her says that she is a little cutie. We'll have to watch out for her when she gets older, not that we need to, she can take her own.
Adah just turned 1. She is very loving and caring, but has a bit of spunk to her. It's too early to tell if we're going to have another Miriam. (which isn't a bad thing, just keeps you on your toes, and pulling your hair) Ya still gotta love though.

All in all, we are enjoying our little home here in Kansas and we really like the town. There is more than just a Wal-mart to shop! We are keeping busy raising our little family and enjoying most minutes of it! :)

Catching Up!

Here she is...in all her one-year old glory. We love our Adah and are so happy that she is a part of our lives. She's so sweet and loving. I can't believe she is ONE!!!

Adah turned 1! Here is her cake that the girls and I made her. Her nickname is Adah potata or tater, so we found it fitting that she have a Mrs. Potato Head cake.
So, I started running again. These are my new running shoes. My other shoes were old and I was getting heel spurs. I love these and feel as if I'm running on air. (not really but it sounded nice, they are pretty comfy though)
We were able to spend Christmas in Poplar Bluff this year. The girls love seeing their grandparents, all of them!
We spent Thanksgiving at home this year, since the closest family is 6hrs away now! We made headbands to celebrate!
Halloween 2011
This was a stop on the way when we first moved from Rolla to Kansas. The girls still talk about the horse "Andy". It was old and very jerky, but they loved it.
We went bowling as a family one Friday evening. The girls had fun and so did we!
Here in Kansas there is a Farmstead that we go to. It's super fun and the girls love to see all of the animals and the best part is it's FREE! (minus the quarters you feed the machine to get food out for the animals)
